Cuento de Niños
Facilitated by Ms. van Bleisem
Spanish III students first researched how to write children’s books. They then created their own bilingual story book. The process included two rough drafts, collaboration, and a ton of dedication and time. Students had a strict deadline with the publishing company; the company then bound the books! Each student received their own hardcover book.

Menus
Facilitated by Mrs. Gourley
Spanish II spent the entire semester “studying abroad” in a Spanish-speaking country of their choice. We, of course, studied the unique foods from these countries! Students were asked to explore the traditional foods and recipes from their chosen country and develop a menu to reflect the unique flavors and cultures from this country.
