Surprise Vacation Design
Facilitated by Mr. Blanton
Students used a design process to design a surprise vacation for a partner. They got to know their partner by conducting empathy interviews to learn about what type of vacation destination, travel, activities, lodging, restaurants, and style would best suit them. They presented a surprise letter and city guide to them during a classroom celebration and a highlight slideshow/video of what the experience would look and sound like.

LEAD Apparel Artwork Design
Facilitated by Mr. Blanton
Students used a design process to design artwork for LEAD apparel that could potentially be purchased in the LEAD school store. Students surveyed LEAD community members to get important feedback from existing and potential customers of the LEAD school store before brainstorming, sketching, and creating mockups of their best designs. Below are some examples of original student designs.
Vision Board
Facilitated by Mr. Motta, Mrs. Scott & Mrs. Gourley
In this Final Product students lay out the early foundation for what their life vision is. In order for us to achieve the life we want - where we experience happiness and peace - we must have a vision of what it will look, feel, and be like. So students developed a vision board that provided images and ideas on what they value in their life and what they think their life will look like in the 5-10 years after high school graduation.
